Does your audience care about your story? If you stopped performing, would anyone yell "WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!????" When an audience member says they remember a story you created years ago and tells you the details of the characters and outcomes, isn't that more rewarding than performing filler that is forgotten before the show is over? Making the story relatable and engaging doesn't have to be boring and distant. We share universal stories that connect us. The stories are funny and vulnerable. They are exciting and silly. You can build a strange character or unbelievable location and still tell the story that embeds itself in the memory of your audience because it comes from the reality we all experience. ------ Il tuo pubblico si interessa davvero alla tua storia? Se smettessi di recitare, qualcuno griderebbe “E ORA COSA SUCCEDE!!!????” Quando uno spettatore ti dice che ricorda una storia che hai creato anni fa, e ti racconta nei dettagli i personaggi e il finale… non è forse più gratificante di un’improvvisazione riempitiva che viene dimenticata prima ancora che lo spettacolo finisca? Rendere una storia coinvolgente e riconoscibile non significa essere noiosi o distaccati. Condividiamo storie universali che ci connettono: storie divertenti e fragili, emozionanti e assurde. Puoi creare un personaggio strano o un’ambientazione incredibile e comunque raccontare una storia che resta impressa nella memoria del pubblico — perché nasce da una realtà che tutti, in fondo, condividiamo.
